Healthy Date Night Restaurants

It’s Friday night and you don’t feel like cooking after a long week of responsibilities. But, it seems like every restaurant you can think of will ruin your eating goals! We have compiled a list of healthy restaurants in Utah County and Salt Lake County so that you can eat delicious food and not worry about messing up your goals. We have also included if the restaurants are doing takeout and delivery so we can still try and social distance!

 

Utah county:

Aubergine and Company: drive-thru, curbside pickup, and delivery with DoorDash

Aubergine and Company is a really yummy restaurant that has some great, healthy options! They offer salads, sandwiches, bowls, acai bowls, juice, smoothies, and flatbreads! All of their menu items are natural, fresh-made, and don’t have any preservatives or refined sugars.

 

Good Thyme Eatery: delivery with GrubHub and DoorDash

Good Thyme Eatery is a local farm-to-table restaurant. They use local farms and greenhouses for their ingredients. They have seasonal menu to ensure that they are providing the best food. They offer everything from coconut chorizo chicken to roasted cauliflower to tzatziki cucumber.

 

Ivie Juice Bar: takeout

Ivie Juice bar has a lot of healthy options including different juices for cleansing, yummy acai bowls, smoothies, and protein shakes. You can turn any protein shake or smoothie into a bowl, too!

 

CoreLife Eatery: takeout and delivery

CoreLife Eatery makes all of their food from scratch every day! Their menu includes green salad bowls, grain bowls, broth bowls, power protein plates, warm rice bowls, and a kids menu! They also offer vegan and gluten-free options.

 

Blue Lemon: takeout, delivery with DoorDash and UberEats

Blue Lemon tastes and feels high-end without the expensive price tag. They have delicious salads, artisan sandwiches (all sandwiches can be made on a lettuce wrap, spinach tortilla, or gluten-free bread), and delicious entrée bowls. They also have great sides like house vegetables, lemon herb rice, and sweet potato fries.

 

Café Zupas: drive-thru and curbside pickup

Zupas is an easy place for takeout! Zupas serves soups, salads, and sandwiches. They offer deals where you can combine different options. They also offer protein bowls (and a chocolate covered strawberry as a little treat)!

 

Guru’s Café: takeout

Guru’s is a great option if everyone in the family wants a different type of food! They offer healthy options of anything you could want! They make their food fresh each day. Guru’s offers salads, vegetarian dishes, tacos & burrito, pasta & bowls, soups, and they have a kids menu!

 

Zao Asian Café: delivery with DoorDash, takeout

Zao is a great option if you’re looking for something a little different. They offer bowls, wraps, salads and soups. Their bases are white/brown rice or rice noodles. You can add any protein and veggies that are available. Their sauces are also the best! My personal favorite is half yellow curry half chili lemongrass.

 

Cubby’s: curbside pickup and delivery with DoorDash

Cubby’s has some great healthy options. They have the most delicious breakfast burrito (which might not fit into your diet right now but it’s worth trying)! But they also have really great salads, sandwiches, and some healthy breakfast options like the quinoa porridge, avocado toast, and granola and yogurt!

 

Salt Lake County:

Pulp Lifestyle Kitchen: curbside pickup and takeout

Pulp Lifestyle Kitchen has three locations in Salt Lake County. They have juices, smoothies, and acai bowls. They also offer some really healthy breakfast options with great sides like turkey sausage and fresh-cut fruit salad. They also have bowls, paninis & wraps, and salads. You can add protein like salmon or chicken breast to any meal!

 

GR Kitchen: curbside pickup

GR Kitchen is a Greek-inspired healthy restaurant if you are looking for quick and easy takeout. They have gyros, plates, bowls, and salads. You can choose your protein, sauce, vegetables, and toppings. They also have a house made falafel that everyone loves!

 

Fueled Kitchen: curbside pickup and delivery with DoorDash

Fueled Kitchen has taken extra steps to be safe during the pandemic, so no worries with them. Fueled has everything you could want! They have breakfast and protein pancakes, protein shakes, salads, acai bowls, avocado toast, and wraps. They also offer takeout meal prep options if you’re not sure where to start with meal prepping!

 

Honest Eatery: curbside pickup and delivery with DoorDash, Postmates, or GrubHub

Honest Eatery works hard to ensure that all of their ingredients are fresh and natural. Something fun about Honest is that you can make your own acai bowl; you can add any toppings you want! They also provide a variety of “power toast” that are super filling. They have protein shakes and a kids menu! Honest Eatery is delicious, filling, and healthy!

 

Rawtopia Living Cuisine and Beyond: curbside pickup and delivery with GrubHub, DoorDash, or UberEats

Rawtopia starts their day with brunch, which is the best meal of the day. They have really great options for brunch like omelets and a veggie hash. For lunch and dinner, they have small plates like hummus and veggie dip. They also offer salads, tacos, and burgers! This is a really great option with a lot of different types of food.

 

Vessel Kitchen: curbside pickup and delivery

Vessel’s main mission is to fill you with food that will help you feel better. They want you to leave feeling renewed, and they do this with honest ingredients and seasonal selections. Vessel has a kids menu, bowls, seasonal salads, protein plates, and a really great deal on family meals! They also have delicious options for sides like spaghetti squash and hummus.

 

The Protein Foundry: takeout and curbside pickup

The Protein Foundry obviously focuses on healthy protein options. They have a lot of protein shake options, acai bowls, pitaya bowls, gourmet toast (their avocado toast is the BEST), and Greek yogurt bowls. They also have a kids menu with a yogurt bowl and more!
